Hazardous Material Incident
At approximately 6:54 PM, the WCFD (Station 52) was dispatched for a fire alarm at the school. As crews were investigating they located an unknown spill of a substance in the boiler room area.
The incident was upgraded dispatching the remainder of the WCFD, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, Chester County Department of Emergency Services (Hazmat 15) and West Chester Borough Police Department.
The incident was downgraded after it was confirmed the substance was a coolant that had leaked in the boiler room area.
All units cleared a short time later. |
