Engine 51-1

Engine 51-1 is a 2007 KME LFD with a Cummins ISL 425 horse power engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a Hale QMax 1500 GPM pump with CAFs system, a 700 gallon water tank, and 50 gallon foam cell. Engine 51-1 carries a multitude of attack lines, 500' of 3" and 1500' of 5" supply hose. It also carries a variety of hand tools, over 100' of ground ladders, and an AED. Mounted on top of 51-1 is a Snozzle 65' HS1 elevated water way with piercing capability and 1250 GPM nozzle. Engine 51-1 has seating for 8 firefighters and is first due to all structure fires within the local.
