West Goshen Township, PA - September 21,2023

This morning at 8:31 AM the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, Chester County Department of Emergency Services Hazardous Materials Team, and West Goshen Township Police Department responded to Metallurgical Products, 810 Lincoln Ave., West Goshen Township for a hazardous materials incident.

The incident was contained within the facility during which time the building ventilation system working as designed, and vented the smoke from inside the building. Staff within the facility have advised that the ventilated smoke into the atmosphere posed no health hazards to the surrounding area.

Our emergency responders arrived quickly and isolated the incident to ensure the safety of the community.

All units cleared at 10:06 AM.
